Constructed
wholly from Patented Sing Honeycomb. The work surface is 24" x 90" x
1-1/2". End panels are 26" x 34" x 1-1/2". Total unit length is 93".
Total weight is with standard grade laminate finish is 92 lbs.
Constructed with Hafele Tab 20HC connectors.
2 Drawer under counter file pedestal - $350
Constructed from a combination of Sing honeycomb material and white melamine particle board. Cabinet sides and drawer fronts are made from Sing honeycomb material. Cross members constructed from particle board. Connectors are Hafele Minifix cam connectors. In the one picture, you can see that I was able to dado in the back of the cabinet. Dado depth is thickness/2. Total weight for this piece is 54 lbs. Total weight for this piece constructed from white melamine 3/4" mdf with laminate finish is 87 lbs.
Display Case:
These display cases are part of a 10' x 10' kiosk built for a university bookstore. The larger display case is 66" total length. The smaller unit is 42" total length. The depth on the display portion of the cabinet is 12". Total unit depth is 26". The back side of the unit is a storage area built from 3/4" white melamine MDF. The top, bottom, and dividers of the storage area are doweled into a common 3/4" back panel with the display case on the front. Material thickness on the display case is 1-1/4". Both units have locking sliding glass doors. The tops of both display cases also contain an aluminum track for product displays that lock into the track. The aluminum track is set into a 1-1/8" (T) x 2" (W) piece of mdf that is glued into the lightweight panel. The connectors used for assembly are Hafele Tab 20HC connectors
